@AOgieglo It will be interesting to see where investigation leads. So many unanswered questions - Who ended up owning the patient samples and data from the “clinical trial” partnership with PDI lab and SK Cancer Agency?

@DrBrianDay Same pattern across the country regardless of political party in power, different hospitals, doctors, nurses, and patients. The same legislative and bureaucratic Goliath overshadows them all - Medicare
@GadSaad@PsychToday You’re not allowed to have expectations for care, you’re not allowed to ask questions - Medicare has created a dehumanized system devoid of compassionate care
@elonmusk In Canada, universal coverage means nothing when you don’t have access to medical care and no alternatives outside failing government program.
Below is the intro to my book. Canadian patients are denied the timely care they’re promised and are forced to die waiting. Laws forbid citizens to independently care for themselves or their loved ones. The world is unaware of our state enforced death penalty for sick patients.
Thank you to @MICimaging in Edmonton, Alberta. Your excellent imaging & report enabled us to access timely out-of-country cancer diagnosis & treatment for our teenage daughter. You were right, it was cancer!
So sad that our system is failing young Canadians:
Pediatric clinic closing at VGH, physicians say they are overwhelmed by demand https://t.co/VwNLrpA5u0 via @timescolonist
It is simply ignorant to assume that private options would favour wealthy Canadians. The wealthy don’t suffer in any society. Canadian government data show our low income groups suffer the worst access and outcomes. Competition will improve the public system for them - experience worldwide proves that.
