The Pritzker family operates the Official Hotel of Socialism™.
The Hyatt Regency McCormick Place has hosted nine Socialism conferences since 2015. The 10th, featuring Hasan Piker, is booked for Sept. 4–7.
The government-owned hotel was taxpayer-financed, taxpayer-subsidized, and is exempt from property taxes.
MPEA is supported by:
🍽️ A 1% downtown restaurant tax
🏨 A 2.5% Chicago hotel tax
 A 6% Cook County car-rental tax
✈️ Airport departure taxes
🧾 State sales taxes when those revenues cannot cover its bond payments
Socialism is profitable for the Pritzkers.
Just to be clear over the past 8 years the governor of Illinois who is “Fighting for the People” has increased the taxes and fees of those same people 63 times taking $77 BILLION MORE DOLLARS out of their pockets
The medium Illinois household he is “Fighting For” now pays over $1,400.00 more per year in state taxes and here’s the bonus, the highest property taxes in America
Oh and BTW the people’s “FIGHTING” governor has doubled their gas tax which he refuses to suspend, costing them $.84 for every gallon of gas they pump
Wow Illinois is lucky to have JB Pritzker “FIGHTING” for us
Trump, Trump, Trump
Trump has absolutely nothing to do with Illinois’ endless - Democrat created - messes. Yet Trump is all Pritzker ever talks about. Anything to distract from Pritzker’s miserable record and lack of accomplishments. Eight years in and where is Illinois - last in everything!
1. Illinois remains the nation's worst-rated state in the country.
2. The City of Chicago is just one notch from junk and on the brink.
3. Chicago Public Schools is already junk-rated.
What do they all have in common?
One-party control.
Democrat mayors have run Chicago for 95 straight years.
Democrats have run the Cook County Board for 95 straight years.
Democrats have controlled the governor's office 19 of the last 23 years.
Democrats have controlled the House for 29 straight years and the Senate for 23 straight years.
It's obvious who owns the mess.

Here's what this really means - the credit rating agencies know the Democrats will hike taxes to cover any additional borrowing. Pritzker has proven that every single year in office. Tolls, fees, tax hikes, new taxes, fund sweeps - he's done it all. And, this upgrade does not mean that Illinois is solvent. Reason Foundation report shows IL with highest debt ratio of 276% - $220B in debt, only $80B in assets.
BREAKING: Illinois has had the worst credit rating in the nation for 13 consecutive years. This is the longest streak in American History.
This is despite 63 Pritzker tax hikes totaling $70B+ in revenue, and more than $30B in COVID bailouts.
Our Pension Debt is about $10B more than when Pritzker took office.
Despite Governor Pritzker’s claim that he has a “record of fiscal responsibility”, a recent state audit found that an Illinois agency paid a staffing firm $78.5 million for contractors who were not actively working. Illinois taxpayers deserve to know where their money is going and that every dollar is being spent responsibly. House Republicans will continue pushing for greater accountability and transparency in state government.
Illinois’ extreme energy mandates. The one-size-fits-all policies. The loss of farmland. The taxpayer handouts. It’s all unfair and needs to be rolled back.
More than half the cost of solar projects in Illinois are covered by taxpayer handouts.
There's a project being pushed in Effingham right now.

It's not just property taxes, sales taxes and gasoline taxes.
Embedded in your electricity bill is another tax – in the form of a surcharge – this time for green energy subsidies. Nearly $600 million will be extracted from Illinoisans this year alone.
Solar farm developers are big beneficiaries of those subsidies. Here’s a good example.

The Cook County Treasurer’s Office has released an analysis on 2025’s tax bills, and property taxes are going up—AGAIN.
Cook County property tax bills will be increasing by another 3.9%, or $743.8 million.
This marks 32 years of property tax increases.
Another year and another reminder that this will only change until we try something new.
Vote Republican—Flip Illinois Red. 🇺🇸
Cook County property taxes just hit $19.9 billion.
That’s a 3.9% increase of $744 million while inflation was only 3.1%.
Homeowners will pay 80% of that increase, as median bills in the north and northwest suburbs jumped 6.7%.
This marks the 32nd straight year of higher taxes after local school boards, cities, parks, and libraries raised the levies again under Toni Preckwinkle’s watch.
Illinois already has the highest residential property tax rate in the country.
Same officials. Same higher bill. Year after year.

Gary is our former home town. Let me tell you why they are still without power:
-People keep shooting at the NIPSCO (their power company) trucks
-roving gangs of thieves and home invaders and limited police presence
-infrastructure is poorly maintained; untrimmed trees are making access to power lines difficult; damaged streets and sidewalks; abandoned buildings everywhere
-city leadership has been hopelessly lazy and corrupt for decades; many like the new mayor but he has clearly not prepared the city for emergency
Our senior citizen uncle is there and refuses to leave his home because he knows if he leaves there will be nothing to come back to. Everyone there is at the mercy of the criminals, the weather and a chronically incompetent local government.
It may also interest you to know that Gary is considered the bluest city in America with nearly total Democrat support.
I’m not one to defend the power companies. NIPSCO has their own issues. But the reason Gary is still offline is because most of the people there keep voting for more of the same at every turn. The city has everything it needs to be a great city. It’s on Lake Michigan, has incredible architecture and is just 30 miles from Chicago. It lost a lot of revenue when the steel mills closed but there has never been a good reason for its failure decade after decade. It’s poor leadership and a disengaged population. It’s not racism. It’s apathy and thievery
Taxed to death.
Walker’s Bluff Winery is shutting down because of INSANE property taxes.
How many more local jobs have to die because JB Pritzker refuses to cap the tax?
🚨 ABSOLUTE TRAGEDY! 4 people went in for routine knee surgery in Nashville and woke up PARALYZED FROM THE CHEST DOWN. Staff injected potassium chloride directly into their spines instead of anesthesia! A "pharmacy error" destroyed these lives. "Sorry" doesn't cut it! 🇺🇸🙏
I am ENRAGED over this!
Food stamps by ethnicity:

Democrats fund illegals lives in hopes that they ILLEGALLY vote.
Is this your American dream?
Because it sure as hell isn't mine.
