@UjuAnya Madam, you are a vile and loathsome individual. Your ignorance and bias is coloured by a woeful lack of knowledge. As an educator, you should know better. I suggest you stop blaming others and try and teach respect rather than hate! Shameful, ugly and unnecessary.
@British_Airways shame on you, choosing to “bumping” two unaccompanied minors of a LHR flight from Dalaman, seemingly because they did not voice their disgust that BA overbooked the flight - BA left them for 8 hours Lied to guardians that LHR flight was cancelled - disgraceful !
@BloombergTV@business She has to take responsibility, she wont. Look at the litany of disasters left after she departed the German Defence Ministry. The pattern being that she never takes responsibility for her failures, but is quick to take credit for Eu successes. She needs to go.
@BorisJohnson Enough now - you have no credibility anymore. Grow a pair. You can not, nor do you have the mandate to guarantee to protect everyone. You also have no right to impose this level of civil Liberty infringements. #CivilDisobedience
@Keir_Starmer@SadiqKhan Sir Keir, I fail to see what his ethnicity has to do with his ability to run this Great City? What I am more interested in understanding is who and how will the next mayor repair the damage he has wreaked on our Capital since taking office ?
“... every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.” George Orwell, 1984
@TerenceKnott1 Agree about the importance of the press telling the truth - but the media needs to report the news without bias or subjective opinion - sadly the balance between factual reporting and sensational opinion is out of whack. Not enough of the former and way too much of the latter.
@truemagic68 So sad - journalists setting the political agenda rather than reporting the facts. We all need to appeal to the British Press - report facts don’t just deliver opinion, be balanced in your reporting not sensationalist in your opinions PLEASE !
Whether or not @DominicCumins was right or wrong, journalists job is to report. Why @BethRigby and other, do you not ask questions - all of your interactions with DC are accusatory statements, not questions. I implore ALL journalists to please STOP making the virus worse !
3 messages to the British Media 1) Stop blaming HMGov, that is the opposition’s job. 2) Report both the good & the bad - you have a responsibility to be balanced. 3) Stop appealing to the lowest common denominator, try raising your game - up the intellectual content.
Behind the ⬇️ (-5.1% MoM) in UK retail sales, a big ⬆️ in online to 22.3% with April set show further increases. Sunk costs spent by consumers & businesses over this period to build online accounts/ capacity means part of this shift will likely persistent after COVID-19 passes
Thanks, Sarah. We're fortunate enough to have the people and the resources to be able to do this and it is great to see communities across the country coming together to support each other at a time of national need. Our key workers are the real stars here; not Eton #keyworkers
I am sure I am not alone in thinking that Chancellor Sunak has thrown the kitchen sink at this crisis! Full on - well done! Let the whole country get behind this relief fund. We must all pull together to rid the country of this turbulent virus!
The employment retention package announced by @RishiSunak is - by design - set at a good level for employees and in incentivising labour hoarding maximises the chances of a v-shaped rebound when social distancing measures come to an end. There are two big big challenges:
