Throughout the day, find yourselves saying,
“Lord, help me.”
“Lord, thank You for this.”
“Lord, give me wisdom here.”
Prayer keeps the line of fellowship open.
Pray without ceasing.
1 Thess. 5
Why …
Why are there no “Senior” or “Lead Pastors” in the New Testament?
Why are monopolizing, one-man weekly “sermons” contrary to the New Testament?
Why is “preaching” never in church to believers, but only to unbelievers, in the New Testament?
Why are obligatory church tithes contrary to the actual standard of giving for Christians in the New Testament?
And why is the idea of building large “church” buildings utterly missing from the New Testament?
Furthermore …
Why are there no “Worship Leaders” or “Worship Pastors” in the New Testament?
In fact, why are Christians never told to gather for “worship” in the New Testament?
And why are gatherings of the church never called a “service” in the New Testament?
Finally …
Why do “Pastors” these days find such simple New Testament truths alarmingly subversive …
Despite claiming special credentials and special privileges to exclusively stand on elevated platforms and expound on the New Testament?
Sigh …
Isn’t it time we ALL became Bereans …
Who search Scripture daily to see if these things be true?
Because insanity is continuing to do “church” as we’ve come to know it, based on post-Biblical human presumptions and traditions, over and over …
And expecting different results.
@soothkeep @chris_jolliff @tammywright1962@JayTibbs23 Would you take that to be Peter/Casa De Cornelius in Acts 10? Which would roughly be 5-10 years or so after the ascension?
@dgoold And when he's on, hit hits those. My issue has been the org in the past has wanted his launch angle to increase so more of those line drives go over the wall. A strategy I disagree with. Let the man hit his 110 MPH seeds at 20 feet off the ground and let's take our chances.
