@cardiffcouncil Hi, is it possible to advise on wait times for calls to C2C at present. I’ve got a council tax query (answer is not on the website) and I can’t stay on hold for hours. I’ve emailed but had no reply. Are there any other options?
@Interrail Hi. I’ve got a global one-month pass and have created a trip and added inward and outward journeys (Eurostar). I’ve logged into the web portal but account doesn’t seem to have synced to the app - it says I don’t have any trips (see attached). Is it possible to advise?
@portraitinflesh Definitely up for that, Tom. Don’t worry re: flakiness - believe me, I get it! I’m away for a couple of weeks now - will give you a shout when back, in August.
@portraitinflesh So, plenty of tories there, but not the ‘type of Tory’ to be enthused by May or Johnson. I also suspect (no evidence, I admit!) that the ‘type’ of Labour voter there was less likely to be repelled by Corbyn (more likely m/class, retired and/or public sector etc).
@portraitinflesh Yes, agree with that. It’s a really interesting seat. Like you, I’ve voted Labour my whole life, but could not bring myself to do so. I agonised though. Fortunately I am in Cardiff West, and comforted myself that Brennan didn’t really need my vote!
@portraitinflesh Cardiff North is fascinating. As you say, it’s gone from ultra-marginal to reliably Lab in 2 elections. Some of this undoubtedly down to Mcmorrin, but other factors too. I think C. north was 62-38 Remain - about the same as C. Central.
