You asked, so here's the long answer.
1. Life. I believe a baby in the womb is a human being made in the image of God. Any party that calls that healthcare doesn't get my vote.
2. Parents. My kids belong to me and my wife, not the school board. I want to know what they're being taught and have a say in it.
3. Women. Girls' sports and locker rooms should be for girls. That used to be the least controversial sentence in America.
4. The family. Marriage, kids, a dad in the home. I want leaders who build that up instead of mocking it.
5. Safe borders. Europe is showing us that ending. I'd rather not watch that movie twice.
Is the GOP perfect? Not even close. I've said plenty about Epstein and both parties.
But I'm not voting for a savior. I already have one.
I'm voting for the country my four kids inherit.
@patrickfahlen@Dcabel2 Tell us Patty boy - what GOP policies are you voting for? How did the gop win your vote this cycle? Was it the blatant corruption? Pedo protecting? The war? The price increases?
What are your values?
@KD50668894 I don't vote for a pastor. I vote for policies. I'm not saying Trump is a good man. I'm saying I'd rather my kids inherit those policies than the other side's. A vote is not a Valentine. Appreciate you asking honestly.
@epicsauce14 Correct, Eisenhower signed the bill. LBJ wrote the amendment. And the fact that both parties kept it for 70 years kind of proves my point, bro. It was never about protecting churches. It was about keeping pastors quiet.
And yes, I pastor 417 Church in Willard, MO. Come visit.
@progressiveTN1@luca_logi Silence isn't agreement. It's me deciding I've argued with enough strangers for one Tuesday lol. Disagree with you 100%. Have a good night.
I got called every name in the book today for saying Christians should vote.
@howertonjosh nailed it in 2 minutes:
A vote is not a Valentine.
A ballot box is not a mailbox.
Personalities come and go. Your grandkids live with the policies.
Go vote.
The theology of voting 🔽
Christians have been deceived and manipulated on this issue for decades. You need to understand what your vote IS... and what it IS NOT.
Step 1. Make sure you're on the right "team."
@Dcabel2 Small reminder: when someone can't argue with your point, they call you names. I've been called a pedo defender four times today for saying I'm voting. Still voting.
@EdwardDOUG93817 Funny, the churches growing fastest right now are the ones with pastors who actually say what they believe. The ones emptying out are the ones too scared to.
