@HollyESpeirs My point here was not about BI. It was that in a commercial field like AAA gamedev its a luxury to be able to create marketable games according to ones own absolute principles.
I remember her complaints about Bioshock Infinite, itโs certainly consistent.
Itโs great to be able to choose an absolute ethos of gamedev without factoring intended audience with the entertainment proposition of the particular game.
One hopes it finds a sufficient audience.
Iโm seeing all the #StarWarsOutlaws art blast posts and although Iโm happy for the artists, Iโm always sad there isnโt a #leveldesign blast as well.
Ironically, what inspired me in #gamedev was โbehind the scenesโ footage of Star Wars.
The game equivalent is level design WIP!

@osamadorias It might be a broader issue with the algorithm, which quite opaque.
If its goal is to find engaging threads for any user on a wide variety of topics, and if a user's posts tend to center on mainly one topic, then its more likely that user's posts get excluded from other's feeds.
After a long hiatus from #gamedev education, am starting work on a video focused on puzzle design.
On #HogwartsLegacy I designed some puzzles in #UnrealEngine for Merlin Trials. Although the Avalanche team went in a different direction, there were some interesting 3P puzzles.
