From summer 2025 to summer 2026, Anthropic went from about $6 billion ARR to $60 billion ARR. Plug that into a discounted cashflow valuation model, and you get big number. Not sure what meta's consumer distribution, google's enterprise distribution, or spaceX's compute (which Anthropic uses) has to do with anything.
@gergomoricz The same people could never do iOS development (Xcode seems to exist to upsell developers on the high margin storage upgrades for their Macs).
I think it would be analogous to the persistent data store with stateless microservice paradigm we have in the cloud. Long running agents with memory will be responsible for planning and "answering questions" from the humans and the ephemeral agents they create to do some task. They will essentially take over what humans do in Claude Code and will mostly present themselves as a virtual coworker.
@afkpengu Posting on X every day😵💫 I could never do that. i try to avoid using X at least two days a week to keep my sanity. Keep up the work, you earned a follow!
“Use” is not the correct word. AI will change the world, and a lot of the value of AI will accrue to people who actually change the human institutions. This is where the comparative advantage in humans lies: commanding attention, persuading people, and taking responsibility for risk.
@TrisH0x2A This is a very common design pattern in C. You can also add function pointers in the parent struct to allow children to override functions. Now if you find this cumbersome you can add macros to create sugar syntax and modify the compi… oh no we are inventing C++!
@IterIntellectus@inductionheads It’s insane if you don’t realize the criterion for “best” in this market is utter useless slop. On real measures, like Agent Arena, it’s around Opus 4.8 level.
