@houstonpolice Elaborating: HPD is now the largest department in the country that has not provided me with a "forms roster" list detailing which forms a department uses internally. NYPD, LAPD and CPD have all given theirs, with some PDs responding in as little as 2 days. Is this forthcoming?
@houstonpolice Hi there! Public document request P131257-120925, requesting a "forms roster" has been open since early December, and the last correspondence from HPD on the thread was on that day. When can I expect responsive documents?
@slantchev@MarkAmesExiled I had to re-read it, but it's there. "Sacrificing Ukraine in the interest of avoiding a Nato-Russia war only increases the likelihood of such war, and of further wars, as Russia will conclude that Nato’s vaunted article 5 may be negotiable, if a broader war can be averted."
@RnaudBertrand And if we acknowledge that there may be some factual basis for mentioning child labor, the argument just becomes "diplomats should never criticize other countries," which is a dangerous attitude to have.
@RnaudBertrand I usually agree with you, Arnaud. But it's simply false to say that there aren't valid concerns about child labor in the Chinese supply chain. (To be fair, there are valid concerns about child labor in Western supply chains as well.)

@akgood@handbuiltcity@qlinedetroit Thanks for your thoughts, Adam. I think you're pretty accurately describing the goal of most Stadtbahn systems, which is pretty much what I'm pushing for here -- a line with light metro characteristics in some places and tram characteristics* in others. So you're spot-on.
@bcgp You know what would fix this really quickly? A bunch of volunteers with snowblowers that blow the bike lane snow directly into the street. You'd see the city getting extremely active about bike lanes, extremely fast.
@ShakurCapital@phunnyphilly Sure thing. A link to this whole thread is in a few editors' inboxes now. I suppose if you want to open your DMs or otherwise provide them with some contact information here, that would probably be your best next step. Good luck!
@ShakurCapital Thanks for saying hello. As I'm living in Germany and outside the Philly media sphere, probably the most useful thing I can do is introduce you to @phunnyphilly, who has also had RTKL issues. Maybe you can team up in some way. I'll also forward your tweet to a few editors.
@yitgordon Great piece. Perfunctory reminder, though: The ITDP spends a good chunk of its time helping governments to justify the replacement of rail plans with crappy blueprints for BRT creep. This is a good message via a deeply flawed messenger.
@claralfreitas Go to Second Chance to look at the used stained glass and pianos. Eat some lake trout. Visit the giant Frederick Douglass head. Accompany it all with a playlist of Tupac, Zappa, Hamerik, et al.
