@kylepinion It's crazy that Challengers is barely in the discussion, as a critically acclaimed, zeitgeist grabbing movie with a huge star that did fairly well at the box office in a year that seems wide open.
For a project, I’ve been rewatching the first season of #TheSopranos and it’s exhilarating how fast the episodes are. It makes you realize how much contemporary streaming is padded; shows trading in plot for vibes. The pursuit of 8-hour-movies has made streaming deathly dull.

The Shining is an all timer, but Shelley Duvall was so much more. Her collaborations with Robert Altman are widely varied and wonderful, and Three Women is definitely the peak, a surreal dream of a film that is mysterious and haunting to this day.
Neat-o news: Comics Beat's Heidi MacDonald (aka @Comixace) teams up with STARGATE & INDEPENDENCE DAY scribe Dean Devlin and his Electric Entertainment for a daily #SDCC news show. https://t.co/B1tHU7aurh
@Comixace In our crazy world, to be able to shut everything else and just focus on a piece of art for 2 hours is one of the best things you can possibly do.
@Comixace It's certainly frustrating. Seems like anywhere online mentioning this complains about how expensive movies are, but get the A-List subscription, or buy discount movie tickets that are widely available for every chain. And sneak in candy/drinks and buy one popcorn,
My friend Patrick Meaney's @patrickmeaney film w/ Jordan Rennert has 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes! I have a small role as a radio DJ in THE BRINK OF, the story of an up & coming young band. https://t.co/5hfIkMYzXV * The movie is rentable at https://t.co/xsqoKiSbrP @PrimeVideo
@MattAmylon I'm with you. I respect the final moment with the coke ad, but the endings for everyone else feel too happy. Joan, Peggy and Pete each get to have it all, and it doesn't feel earned. Particularly disappointing since every other season finale would have been a great series finale
