James Trainer had a very impressive week last week for the Varsity Wrestling team. The senior performed well on the mat and has been important to the team off the mat as well. In a very busy week Trainer went 6-0. He defeated last years state runner up and another state placer in match ups over the weekend.
Great job James and Roll Red!
HS Athlete of the Week - Elias Franks
Last week our wrestling team had senior night. Elias Franks stood outfor not only his wrestling, but for his attitude, toughness and leadership he displayed on senior night and throughout the whole season so far. Elias and the other seniors' passion for excellence in all they do is truly incredible. They have built a team culture that brings great pride to our coaches and school.

Our varsity wrestling team had a bunch of alumni come support the team over the last 2 days, and it is always great to see them. Here is a few of the younger alumni from yesterday’s match.
A morning workout in Nashville as we get ready for tomorrow's Journeymen Collegiate Duals! We are very grateful to the Montgomery Bell Academy @MontgomeryBell for allowing us to practice here! A great place to be, and great hosts! Thank You!! #PSUwr
This weekend we hosted our annual MBA Wrestlemania event.
The event on Saturday morning was a chance for our HS wrestlers to meet, officiate for, and wrestle with kids. It was a great chance for our guys to inspire and pour into the youth.

After 14 seasons, Coach Marty Euverard has announced the 2024 season will be his last. With a 121-52 record, 7 state finals, and a 2014 title, his impact is unmatched.
More than wins, he shaped young men of integrity and character.
Thank you, Coach!
