Just the other week a friend asked me what my dream UK interview would be. I gave him 3 names, and Sir Reese-Mogg was among them.

Many people see a double-breasted suit and a Somerset accent and think “ugh, here’s another posh Tory telling us what to think”. But in reality, Sir Reese-Mogg has been one of the greatest supporters of diversity of thought within the @Conservatives.

Former Cabinet minister and GB News host @Jacob_Rees_Mogg told NewsForce’s @patschnecker that division between Reform and the Conservatives is an electoral liability, arguing that the two parties share far more than separates them.

Rees-Mogg also admitted he was wrong to support Robert Jenrick for Conservative leader, praised Kemi Badenoch’s performance, and said the right must stop blaming outside forces and take responsibility for winning.

Out of every party leader right now, @KemiBadenoch is the ONLY one with clear, consistent policies.

She avoids the flip-flopping of the Labour government, the senseless aggressive rhetoric of Reform, and the hypocrisy of the Greens.

Once again she is proving her doubters wrong.

I wish Andy Burnham every success as Prime Minister. But it is my job to hold him to account.

Every announcement he makes should be properly funded. We cannot borrow more money and the tax burden is already too high, so the only answer is spending cuts.

I will work with him in the national interest to find savings from the benefits bill. If we reach agreement, my Conservative MPs will vote for those cuts in Parliament. That's the way to get Britain working.

Speaking to @PatSchnecker at CPAC Britain, @Nigel_Farage said the event gave Reform and Conservative activists a rare opportunity to sit together and talk.

Farage argued that, as the next election approaches, support will consolidate around whichever party is strongest, and he believes that party will be Reform UK.

🇬🇧 BREAKING: NIGEL FARAGE HAS RESIGNED AS MP FOR CLACTON, TRIGGERING A BY-ELECTION THAT HE SAYS HE WILL CONTEST HIMSELF.

The Reform UK leader said voters should be “the judges” of his actions after days of scrutiny over his financial declarations.

Farage insists he has done nothing wrong, says he has not broken any laws or misused public money, and claims the investigations against him are politically motivated.

He also said a disputed £5 million gift will fund his personal security for the rest of his life.
