@NSharmaTrades Welcome, Nitin. Always best when they're in agreement and right in sync. That's the A+ trade to at least IB high/low.
Have a great weekend!
$NQ IB downside break. $ES trying for the upside break.
Everyone or nobody gets what they want this morning, I guess. What a mess! 7459 still π if one chooses to participate.
I either don't trade IB at all or I wait for the SMT where one contract takes the high/low and the other one doesn't... then I can trade the retrace or wait to trade the continuation depending on context. If I take a pass on IB completely, it's no big deal as I have plenty of other strategies to lean on.
The biggest win of the week was not chasing B- setups yesterday after missing my A+ entry. I was pretty down on myself as I hadn't let that happen in quite some time. I didn't let it snowball & then made up for it today. There's a lesson in there for newer traders. π
GM. All my own. Same strategies as in my pinned post.
NQ... 15min ORB to 50% ext. β οΈ
IB for NY, Asia & London. β οΈβ οΈβ οΈ
AM TBR .25 std dev tag, retrace to 8am open. β οΈ
Lunchbox/Magic Hours not ready. Stop placement the issue. It's close, but I don't love it as is.
ES... 30min ORB to TBL. β οΈ I have this one set to tag Asia, London or PDH/PDL, whichever is unmitigated & sits as the lowest hanging fruit. If none, it defaults to ORB 50% ext. Exactly the same strategy as my YouTube video I shared a couple years ago & the 1st futures strategy I ever used. Strongly considering changing it to PDH/PDL targets only with the 50% ext default because it leaves a lot of money on the table and probabilities don't drop off much with that adjustment. It only fires once & may capture 10+ handles or so even when the market moves 50+ handles. It does exactly what it's supposed to do & is great, but if I'm going to let anything run on trend days & try to capture a much larger move, to me this needs to be the one. π€
Working on the GEX level sweep/reclaim but have only been able to come up with a quick but manually entered & gated "ticket" that fires on command. Not fully automated like all the others... but once entered, it's a limit order so it can sit there & rest in the market until triggered. It's fine & works as is, but would love to get it 100% automated & paired up with Claude's setupsβ‘. Claude is not being cooperative with this last one, even though it built all the others. π‘
@shrederickson@JKBTrades_ π― Agree. I've got a solid 6 months in & just started two new strategy automations this week. Plus, I'm changing the way it's all logged & tracked this weekend. I'm up to 6 algos with 2 pending but not even close to where @shrederickson is. So much more work to do. It's endless!
Apologies! Several mentions/questions went unanswered over the last few days. I did not get notifications. I don't leave anyone hanging. I had to scroll back through posts just now to see them & answer. If there's anything/anyone I didn't respond to please fire away here. Thanks
@TheShadowHeDo MCP. I had concerns, but now it's one of the best things I've done for myself. Saves a ton of time and now the trading itself is starting to pay off as Claude has learned how I trade. Just fyi... I said "I'll explore this weekend" too -> that was in February. Still going! π
@TheShadowHeDo Hey! Claude is connected to my TradingView account. It has live data whenever it needs it or whenever I prompt. It reads my charts, my indicators, it's own indicators and even draws all my levels. The only data I feed it is the options data from the CBOE for the GEX levels.
It's currently linked to prop. This is brand new over the last few days. Claude went this path on its own in a single report (which I liked) and then we tightened it all up for future reports. That's what we're viewing. Still a work in progress on how I want to track it all going forward.
@auburn2007@TrashTraderInv Sorry about the delay. I didn't get a handful of notifications. This happened to be one of them.
Thanks, Auburn! Same to you!
Patience pays! $NQ joins $ES with an IB upside break as 1st FVG after 10am prints green. π―
Now, risk is easier to manage for runners to Asia high/PDH. πͺ
@JKBTrades_ TopStep has an API for $14.50/month if you trade prop with them. Code "topstep" 50% off the regular $29/mo. Claude can guide you through the rest.
I'm not a fan of trading Friday afternoons, especially after a solid morning. Monday mornings and Friday afternoons tend to be times I give some back according to my stats... and I'm not willing to do that today.
@JKBTrades_ Just asked Claude for a summary of the last few sessions. Only started flagging them on Wednesday. Would share the levels before and what to look for, but didn't specifically flag them & log them... π₯
The sweep/reclaim strategy that I've spent months teaching Claude has my own rules & I'll trade both $ES & $NQ in either direction, but a tip of the π§’ must go to @AdamMancini4. His trading style made perfect sense once I learned how to map my own GEX levels. π
HAGW all! βοΈ
@TheGoozer68 Hey, Goozer! I try. There's nothing worse than having a legit question and the larger account just ignores it. That's never been my style.
Have a great weekend, my friend!
