@TeamYouTube The channel itself is active but my Google account associated with the channel will not allow me access. I cannot log in to manage Photoshop Essentials. Can I DM you my account email?
@TeamYouTube My name is Steve Patterson, creator of Photoshop Essentials (a trusted education channel since 2017). The removal of a small secondary channel has severed my access to Photoshop Essentials. I kindly request assistance: https://t.co/0OrSFVkzE4
@Marie_Haynes Does such a blog exist? Maybe if the articles are for entertainment, but I can’t see many people reading info blogs beyond the answer they needed.
@Marie_Haynes The big problem for websites now, as I see it, is that SO many searches can be answered with just one or two sentences. How do you do a particular exercise? "Start here, do this, do this, great job!"
How do sites distinguish themselves? Does expertise even matter anymore?
@Marie_Haynes@ViktorDite Some queries are showing the opposite problem, with the period before the update showing a 0 position, but then the correct position appears when I view the individual query.
@Marie_Haynes@ViktorDite I'm looking at Queries in GSC and noticing quite a few 0's under Position for the period after March 5. But it seems to be a glitch because when I click on an individual query, the actual position appears. And I can verify it with a quick Google search.
@Marie_Haynes Okay, so I did the GSC export to the GPT but I'm not seeing any big ranking changes. Certainly not with the keywords that drive the most traffic. So maybe it is just seasonal. Guess I'll find out soon enough.
@Marie_Haynes That's what I've been using as well. I was just wondering if there was anything better. I've noticed a 10% drop in traffic over the past week but GSC is not showing any changes in my average positions. Might just be seasonal due to March Break.
@GregBernhardt4 If I can ask one more question... I see in a lot of screenshots that the AI answer box is closed by default, allowing you to see the traditional search results. Is that the case?
@Marie_Haynes@seroundtable Yesterday I asked ChatGPT to find me the answer to a question I covered in an article. It literally spit out my own article, word for word. Every sentence had a tiny number 1 at the end which linked to my article. It was flat out plagiarism. But what can I do? I don't know.
@Marie_Haynes@seroundtable For research, definitely. ChatGPT is great for the researcher and bad for the sites where the info came from. I guess I was thinking about more general searches and how people would quickly lose interest if the internet was just text on a grey background.
