Pictures show the total loss of 81-0005, an E-3G “Sentry” Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) Aircraft with the U.S. Air Force’s 552nd Air Control Wing based out of Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, following yesterday’s Iranian ballistic missile and drone attack on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. The strike appears to have purposefully targeted the most important part of the E-3, that being rear of the aircraft which holds its rotating radar dome, containing several sensitive instruments including antennas for the E-3’s AN/APY-2 Surveillance Radar System.

This year, the Trump administration stopped granting free entry to national parks on MLK Jr. Day, but did grant it for Flag Day/Trump’s birthday.

In Philadelphia, they ordered the removal of an exhibit at Independence National Historical Park on the paradox between slavery and freedom in the founding of the nation.

And he’s continued to threaten the Smithsonian, threatening to cut funding to the institution for what he called in an executive order, “divisive, race-centered ideology.”

Black history is American history.

And today, now more than ever, we must stand together to protect that history as our nation’s history.
