Gordon Lightfoot has left us. There’s something about Canada and Gordons.. This is a photo of him alongside fellow Gords Downie and Pinsent. Pinsent then painted the image. All gone now. To quote Mr. Lightfoot, “If you plan to face tomorrow, do it soon.” #GordanLightfoot
When we were younger, Burton Cummings and I went to a #GordonLightfoot concert. We sat there mesmerized the entire time at the way he sang and the stories his lyrics told. Poetry, folklore & music. Spellbound would be a good way to describe it. Love to his family and friends today at his passing. I knew him a long time, he was a wonderful person. #Canadian #legend #RIP

We must come together as Canadians. We must heal the divide that is fracturing our society.
To the protestors: It’s time to end these occupations and go home.
Have you ever wondered what or who crossed this patch of ground that you're standing on?
If conditions are right, animals leave behind clues of their presence. Evidence of wildlife can be just as wonderous as seeing wildlife itself.

Ah, alpenglow...the peaceful, reddish-pink light reflecting off the mountains on special winter days. It's a sight to behold and whether it's your first time, or 100th time, it still fills the soul.
Every weekend, we showcase some of the best photos you've sent us from around the province.

Remember to check for ice/snow build-up on your vessel. A regular safety check is important, even if you’re not planning to head out on the water, because build-up can cause your boat to list and take on water or even sink.

Today, we are feeling all the feels! 😍
Terry, a member who worked with us in our Central Region during the late 70s, painted this beautiful photo of a Cape Class vessel.
