I’m in York doing some Christmas shopping. I’m pleased to see so many niche shops and small businesses accepting #Amex as payment, even stalls at the Xmas Market, but amazed that larger retailers such as Yankee Candle, Kristy Kreme and The Cadbury Shop to name a few, refuse it.

@TUIUK It seems you are free to amend the Terms and Conditions for COVID and waive some fees but not the removal of passengers unless the holiday doesn't go ahead due to covid. At that point I can change the holiday as much as I like because it would be cancelled.

I'm amazed that @TUIUK allow you to make amendments to your holiday destination, dates etc free of charge but don't allow you to remove people from the booking without a £200 per person fee!

@TUIUK However, name changes will still incur a fee. If you opt for a more expensive holiday, you will need to pay the difference in price. If you change to a cheaper holiday, we will refund any balance overpaid versus the new holiday price.
