@putey_pute There was a van parked facing the Audi. It pulled out the space but turned before it was clear of it. The side panel hit the corner of the Audi and the van dragged it before the panel broke off. So now you know.

@ListerLawrence I also paid £90 for my first car. A Volvo 460Xi. It had been owned by and elderly couple and only done 34k miles in 13 years. It had no ABS and was surprisingly keen to indulge in lift off oversteer. Which taught me a lot! L486UHS

@Boenau All speed limits could be removed if people possessed a good ability to dynamically risk assess. Those who think an arbitrary limit ensures safety are a concern. Sometimes 15mph is dangerous, sometimes 100mph can be safe. It's about reading the situation.
