@AmeinEzmail @markgoldbridge Care to explain what doesn't make sense in me suggesting we dont need a big name signing? I am suggesting we may end up signing a player who is not a household name. Lammens wasn't known before he signed and that turned out ok. Gone are the days of big signing and £250k wages.

@British_Airways Funny really that at Heathrow the announcements was about bags being off loaded if dont fit in the overhead lockers although we checked 4 in and 1 only turned up. I wasn't the only person to not get their bags. Wonder if you ever had intentions to honour your T&C's.

@British_Airways you really are the worst! Fly all the way to Toronto from Manchester, then flights to Vancouver, then finally Calagry to Heathrow and our bags turn up everytime. Key note here, we didnt fly BA. Then Heathrow to Manchester you decide to leave our bags behind.

We have done the big marquee signings and it hasn't worked. That doesn't mean likes of Elliott should not be sort, but I dont think going for Madrid players is the right fit.
