@scott_mills@gregjames we know you love your challenges, got any tips for staying awake for 24 hours? We have 2 24hr hikes to do this year, the 3 peaks and then a 50 mile hike across the Longmynd, perhaps you'd like to join us?

@StephenMerchant sorry to bother you Stephen but for 27 days I've been asking @TheLastLeg to give a mention to #RareDiseaseDay either on show or via social media. Long shot I know and even longer shot dragging you into it but any chance you could give them a nudge?
@TheLastLeg@adamhillscomedy Day 25 - I didnt want to resort to such dirty tricks but Emilia is asking can you pretty please give a mention to (it'll be a day late on the show but that's ok) or share a tweet etc about #RareDiseaseDay
@jimallthetime Hi Jim. Sorry hadn't realised you were replying! I will get back in touch very shortly about talking to you more on Thursda. I look after my daughter during the daytimes so it could be a little tricky (shes only 2)
@jimallthetime part 4. The main objective of Rare Disease Day is to raise awareness amongst the general public and decision-makers about rare diseases and their impact on patients' lives. A mention would be very greatly appreciated! Thank you
@jimallthetime part 3. My daughter suffers from a very rare condition called WAGR syndrome which has only 500 recorded cases worldwide and is currently being treated for a Wilms Tumour which is a rare condition in it's own right so raising awareness of this day is very important
@jimallthetime part 2. Up to 3 million people in the UK will be affected by a rare condition at some point in their life. 50% of all rare conditions affect children and of those 3 in 10 will not see their 5th birthday.
@jimallthetime part 1. Could you please mention that Thursday 28th Feb is #RareDiseaseDay. Rare diseases are obviously rare but there are up to 7000 known rare diseases, mostly genetic anomalies, which combined affect over 350 million people worldwide.
@TheLastLeg Day 22 - as its #StandUpToCancer soon, #isitok to mention that rare diseases include rare cancers such as childhood cancers, this includes the Wilms Tumour that my daughter is being treated for currently (this is her soon after her op) #RareDiseaseDay
@TheLastLeg Day 21 - 1 week to go! I've told you the numbers for EU and worldide but 1 in 17 people, or almost 6% of the population, will be affected by a rare disease at some point in their lives. This equates to approximately 3.5 million people in the UK #RareDiseaseDay
