@trainfanmatt@ThreeUK I contacted them. They are looking into it.
I'm not angry and I agree with your general thoughts on the "feeding frenzy"
Privacy concerns are a little more legit and a denial is not sufficient without explanation. But they are looking into it. So fine...
@trainfanmatt@ThreeUK Yeah, I don't buy the argument that having a legitimate privacy concern is getting "wound up"
A light tweet that denies a breach is not a sufficient explanation.
I'll certainly be sending them an email to see what their formal response is. The first step in an ICO complaint.
@JBEYFS @ThreeUKSupport I agree. Strictly this is a data breach.
I have the number of 3 people who are three mobile customers. If it's not a data breach.
Hypothetically , I'd be ok to pass those to someone? No confidentiality breach if I do that?
Or do you just want to cut and paste empty platitudes?
@trainfanmatt@ThreeUK It is not about "wound up" it is about data protection law.
I personally don't think it is massive problem but a clear explanation would be best in this scenario.
I don't know how familiar you are with the responsibilities of a data controller under GDPR?
@trainfanmatt@ThreeUK I think the concern is that this incident has signs that make it look like there was a data breach.
This may, or may not have happened.
If it did, there are consequences for those affected.
Three should be sensitive to this and provide a clear narrative on what has happened.
@ThreeUKSupport@ilyas_omer Can you issue a clear statement of what has happened?
I see at least 3 people who think they had a call from me. I hope my number is not in the hands of a scammer who is spoofing it.
If it is a data breach, you have to tell us within 72 hours of your discovery.
Please clarify.

@ThreeUKSupport@N27873809 If not a data breach, please tell us what actually happened?
as a data controller under GDPR, you have 72 hours to disclose after discovery of a breach.
I also think it is your data officer's responsibility to determine the status, have they issued a statement on this?

@SusiePovie89@ThreeUK I had this happen over the last few days. I initially thought it was because I had told a scammer to <expletive deleted> and they had added me to their "spoof numbers" list in revenge.
Turns out it is my network...pathetic!
@Split82 Looks like they need to patch the Quest 2 in a similar way to the fix they did for the Quest 1 last Christmas. Must be a regression caused by the new controllers.
@Oliver89997104 @Meathamski@NathieVR I like to think of Beat Saber to Oculus Quest as Tetris was to the Nintendo Gameboy, destined to be remembered as that game everyone plays on the Quest.
I actually think it should be bundled with the Quest.
