It’s Time to Talk Day … I remember when I was too proud to start a conversation about my mental health. But now @PAUL4Brain exists because I began to talk about how I was feeling ❤️ We all have mental health and can support ourselves and others when we talk about it.
Small actions = big results. This month I smashed my 200-mile cycle target – totaling 214 miles, mainly on my turbo trainer 🚴🏻♂️ I did this by breaking it down into bite-sized, manageable chunks. Whatever your goals, a small step is one step closer to crushing them ❤️
I really enjoyed talking to the physiotherapy students at @UniOfHull last week. I gave an insight into life after brain injury and shared my story of the founding and growth of @PAUL4Brain ❤️
We are delighted to announce that Language is Everything has chosen us as their charity of the year for the second year running in 2023! ❤️💙
HUGE THANK YOU to @LanguageisE for their ongoing support towards the charity! Watch this space for more AMAZING news to follow! 👏❤️
I didn't know @BBCLookNorth included me in their best moments of 2022! 🧠 It's lovely to be recognised for offering hope and inspiration ❤️ I hope this helps people affected by one punch and brain injury.

This is something I've experienced myself during my #braininjury recovery. 💪 Definitely worth a listen 👂❤️

Thanks to all involved, and a big shout out to Steve for organising this for @PAUL4Brain ❤️
It was nice to see local football legend Dean Windass coming to support the charity too
Last week I had my last meeting of the year with the @PAUL4Brain heroes 🧠 They're a bunch of brave and inspirational people who use their experiences to support people recovering from brain injuries. We had a great chat about our plans for next year. Roll on 2023 ❤️
Exciting morning dropping off @HullWykeRT Santa sleigh at @brandfixx ready for its makeover. Thank you, Brandfixx, for supporting our community work. We cannot wait to see it rewrapped, ready for Santa to bring some Christmas spirit to the West Hull villages next week ❤️
Recently, I presented to our local Cubs group. I gave an insight into my journey and the services available at @PAUL4Brain
This community work, helping to educate the next generation, is something I really enjoy. 🧠❤️
Kindness has completely enriched my life. From the kindness shown to me by the doctors & nurses at Hull Royal Infirmary, the support from my family and friends, and my incredible colleagues and the ambassadors, trustees and sponsors of @PAUL4Brain Thank you 🙏 #worldkindnessday
Great Teams call this morning….
I was excited to discuss how @PAUL4Brain supports people affected by brain injury within the NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board.
