#NetsWorld WHAT ARE ASSETS FOR? This isn’t about Joshua Jefferson, I wish him well… Other teams set the price to trade up. Some did it with picks, others with money or both. 7 move up trades. We have 5011 2nd round picks. He has never moved up in a draft. WHAT ARE ASSETS FOR?
Need Sean Marks to offer MPJ to highest bidder. Cook up something like:
- Trade MPJ, #43 tonight, & a future first to OKC for #17 tonight with matching salary
- Then trade #6, 17, and 28 tonight, & a future first to move into the top 3
@BrooklynNets#NetsWorld#NBADraft2026
@NetsLink We are cooked. Tsai’s son tweeted against Kyrie. Daughter supports the Knicks. Sean Marks isn’t held accountable. Tsai doesn’t care about winning. And Netsdaily hasn’t stopped posting about the Knicks. We have never been more irrelevant
Mets won fans in the 80s after 1986.
Islanders won fans after winning 4 straight Cups in the 80s.
Jets won fans in the late 60s with Namath.
Unlike other little brother teams, the Nets have yet to cement themselves into NY history — or even achieve relevancy for that matter.
@Joe_Martin13@WillNetsFan@DougNorrie Nets can swap theirs w/ any of the 3 teams. They can also swap Philly for Suns & swap Suns for Knicks. They cannot swap Philly for Knicks. So if Suns finish 4th best & Philly 3rd best, Nets get Phillys pick & the better of Nets or Knicks. Any other order, Nets get best 2 picks.
@therealsjc_@brooklynnets85@brooklynsbeat Hope so. But do any of us know where the bar is at? My thing is, we aren’t going to be good next year either. So I worry the bar is still low enough to hurdle. Will Tsai look at 27 wins as improvement? I think we are screwed tbh. I don’t think he gets fired until mid 2027-28
Not only has Sean Marks been employed 10 years with one playoff series win & multiple trade requests as the third longest tenured GM in the @NBA, but ffs look at this list!!! Masai, Ainge, Kroenke all champs. And then theres Marks. @joetsai1999 is a cuck #NetsWorld#FireSeanMarks

A big reason NBA teams are so precious with draft picks is the NBA league office continuously shows you can’t do long-term planning because they’ll change rules on a whim b/c of negative social media reaction
Can’t land good picks because of flattened odds. Can’t trade picks because no team wants to do it anymore. Can’t trade for players because no one wants to trade picks. Can’t sign free agents because of the aprons. Adam Silver has killed all team building in the NBA
The new CBA effectively diminished player movement via free agency and now lottery reform will reduce all trades that required draft picks as sweeteners. Remind me why the @NBA is the only sport with this issue? @NFL@MLB@NHL got Adam Silver on skates
I know Sean Marks didn’t acquire picks knowing this rule was coming and is not at fault (unless he votes Yes to it on May 28th), but boy damn does this dude strike out on the regular lmao #NetsWorld@BrooklynNets Still fire Sean Marks anyway @joetsai1999
I get the NBA wants to punish tankers, but this rule basically treats teams that trade with tankers as accomplices to tanking... in an era in which tanking is going to be reduced anyway, so you're basically just punishing teams for bad luck. It's so over the top and unnecessary.
@DavidM_Harris@levert_szn@BrooklynNets@joetsai1999 Link? But anyways, 5 > 6. Not to mention last year was the true miss. Get yourself a stud last year, and I can reluctantly live with the 6th pick this year. Either way, Sean Marks has had his chances. It’s time to move on. If Denver and Philly can part ways with theirs, so can we
Wembanyama was so good that Harper starting a conference finals game as a rookie and dropping 21-11-6-7 in 47 minutes is an afterthought, but that kid is special
@DavidM_Harris@levert_szn@BrooklynNets@joetsai1999 If you can prove that, I will say kudos. No sarcasm. Have never heard this being the case so if you can show me, checkmate. Still doesn’t take away from the argument about their floor and that they had better odds to get 6th than 1st, and that’s what happened.
