there is one universal truth:
you have to use emotion for acquisition & substance for retention.
you can apply it to products, dating women, whatever. the same damn principle applies everywhere: what gets someone interested is rarely if ever the same thing that makes them stay.
"It's not so important what you work on, so long as you're not wasting your time. Work on things that interest you and increase your options, and worry later about which you'll take."
-- Paul Graham
Hi, it's Darshita. I am a designer.
And I'm pitching myself in public 'cause I'm done with a year full of anxiety.
Everyone says design is dead and AI killed it. But the real parasite was hiding in plain sight.
So here's my film, DESIGN IS DEAD. She's bold, fearless and very PINK 💖

String theory is what happens when an intelligent system is starved of sensory input and starts hallucinating. Intelligence needs grounding.
For this reason, intelligence is practically never the bottleneck to solving impactful problems. The bottleneck is iterated contact with reality.
Run one agent and your state is fine. Run three on the same data and strange things start happening :
two agents pick up the same task
one overwrites the other’s update and neither notices
an agent acts on a value that changed ten seconds ago a message goes out before anyone checked it
Nothing crashed. Every log looks normal. The system is just wrong.
These are concurrency problems, the kind databases solved decades ago. Agent frameworks orchestrate who runs when; they don’t make the shared state they write to correct.
ZeroLock sits next to LangGraph, CrewAI or Temporal and does that part: version-checked writes, an ordered claim log so exactly one agent wins a task, approval gates before anything irreversible.
Private testing is underway .

(@OpenAI) Give a man a dollar every day for a hundred days, and on the 101st day give him nothing - he’ll curse you.
(@claudeai) Beat a man every day for a hundred days, and on the 101st day don’t beat him - he’ll thank you.
the openai hugging face incident gets cited a lot but what about the detail where they had to use GLM 5.2 to analyze the attack because the "safe" proprietary models refused
We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so.
Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training.
