@chezachuck @thefatdoctoruk Alternatively, I had been working with an intuitive eating dietician and before the second opinion she gave me some advice (she was furious about it but she did it). I was super close to the line and it did help and didn’t tip me back into disorders. My BMI is still over 35 tho.
@chezachuck @thefatdoctoruk Or getting a second opinion. My local doctor wouldn’t provide GERD surgery and a hiatal hernia repair because my BMI was above 35. The one in the big city did it (after a sound lecture about how I should get a gastric bypass). I feel incredible. 2/x
@chukdotcom@ruthschmidt@SouthwestAir I do get it. It is that simple. When you run a company (and it doesn’t matter if it’s small or enormous) you have to understand staffing. They knew they would be understaffed and they did nothing. No raises, no hires, nothing. Despite record profits. They knew this would happen
@llmunro I have a couple choice friends that I find it’s really important to spend time with. It’s less about what we do (sometimes we watch tv and get take out, sometimes it’s a wine bar, etc) than it is about being with people who bring me joy.
