@charlot_summers @UKHouseofLords Recognition of prolonged training time and additional seniority when appointed as a consultant. Training prolonged for other reasons confers eligibility for a higher starting pay threshold. Why not for clinical academics? Current system is a lottery depending on employer.

@svershbow Totally agree. When my husband left me I was stuck with his name and it struck me how unfair that is. I gave up a significant part of my identity (willingly, believing we were 'forever'). Luckily I used my maiden name for work and no kids so easier to change back. Switch complete
