@BamaSaltyMarine Because they are expensive to make. The government, as a safety net, should only provide US grow dried beans and grains. That's it. I'd be fine with dropping the admin to near zero and letting literally anyone that wants it have it in logical amounts.
@Skint_Eastwood1 This is why 'hate speech' laws are a terrible idea. There is no 'hate speech' just speech one might hate. As an officer reconciling this wouldn't be possible to navigate.
Property tax is also extremely problematic for the exact same reason. Folks are literally forced out of homes they've lived in for 50+ years because somebody thinks it's worth an amount. It's criminal and not only in this case. The effect is the same no matter who is being victimized.
@BobFergusonGov This is the very last thing to spend money on. It's a green washing waste of tax payer money. Instead reduce taxes by 200 million and let businesses and individuals decide how to spend it.
"And the law BANS utility companies from charging higher prices because of data centers" - this is literally unenforceable. If there is even a drop more demand prices will go up and attributing the risks ng prices to individuals isn't possible since prices climb for more reasons than just demand. Price controls don't work.
Better would be to say data centers have to be water neutral. They get to fill their tanks then require a closed loop system.
Same with power requirements, if supply increase doesn't match the demand increase it's obvious what will happen.
@america This doesn't matter. The US could request extradition. The real story is that our government doesn't care enough to make the fraudsters suffer because they are all in on it.
@mbell58@LPNational@RepThomasMassie "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
This doesn't specifically say arms are only for a Militia. It says a Militia is important and not possible unless folks are armed.
Hmmm, this isn't really saying what you think. We should be advocating for slashing all taxes and bring government spending to near zero.
That 3.9 billion spent is taxed a hundred times over as it is someone's income, they spend it and that is someone's income.
Do away will all property and all income tax. Pass laws that don't allow excess government spending and all spending must be publicly auditable. That's the solution.
I served in the Air Force. I can tell you, it isn't as voluntary as you want to think. Most folks are there to escape a worse fate or think they are.
I have thought for years that if everyone served we would be in far fewer senseless wars. Everyone would have skin in the game so to speak.
Obviously it would be better if it was a truly voluntary force and the government did the right thing, but we live in a world based in incentives and they have to match the outcome you want for any hope of fruition.
