Today my son was confirmed and made the decision to follow Jesus Christ. To be a part of the UMC. Knowing full well what the UMC is going through… he chose this expression of church. As a pastor this brings me great joy. As a mom…he makes me proud.

@RevShaneBishop Our #s are down because we had 100+ go on to glory. Not all from COVId, but a good amt. Our #s are up and we’re doing greater ministries. Closing allowed us to kill dead ministries and begin new. Opening early wouldn’t have allowed this. We allowed God to mold us to his vision.

@SHoddeMiller As a pastor the best lesson COVId taught us… you don’t do it all! My kids like church, sports and scouts. They/We/I learned the value of No and Sabbath. Family, fun and fellowship is the motto around here. And it’s more important than all the activities!
