It disturbing and disgusting, that in this time and age, there are Kenyans - of good education and sound mind, who believe "DEVELOPMENT IS A FAVOUR FROM THE PRESIDENT". End!
@gpdkaluma The problem with a sycophant is simple: theyโll defend anything, endorse anyone, and clap for empty air not because it makes sense, but because the paycheck/likes depend on it. No reasoning, no standards, just blind cheerleading
@Safaricom_Care Niko na shida moja. Can you set Myone App in way that I can access it even when I'm using data from a different provider. It was possible with the Mpesa app.
Because the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act was never about protecting ordinary Kenyans but it was about protecting power.
When citizens get defamed or harassed online, they have no hotline, no DCI follow-up, no justice. But when a politician gets roasted on X, suddenly โcybercrimeโ becomes a national crisis.
These same MPs and senators stayed silent when Kenyans were scammed through fake betting sites, crypto fraud, and online loan apps. But now that memes, satire, and digital dissent target them , they are the โvictimsโ of online crime? The hypocrisy is exhausting.
If the law truly aimed to curb real cybercrime, youโd see tech investment, capacity-building, and international cooperation , not criminalisation of opinion.
Theyโre not fighting online crime; theyโre fighting online criticism.
Funny how the same leaders who say โwe are a democracyโ cannot stand being questioned on digital platforms. Democracy apparently ends where their ego begins.
