Pakistan has won the Commonwealth @commonwealthsec "Access to Justice Innovation Award 2026" in recognition of the Ministry of Law and Justice’s @ministry_law landmark digital justice initiatives.

This prestigious international honour highlights the impact of @GovtofPakistan reforms, including #Pakistan Code and the Document Retrieval System, in transforming access to justice.

The Commonwealth Access to Justice Innovation Award recognizes innovative government initiatives that use creative approaches to expand meaningful access to legal services, especially for vulnerable people, aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 16.3 @ConnectSDGs on equal access to justice for all.

Christmas celebrations at Pakistan High Commission, London

The High Commission of Pakistan in London @PakistaninUK hosted #Christmas celebrations that was attended by Christian & Muslim leaders and the British Pakistani christian community.

Choirs from various churches sang Christmas Carols which added to the joy and festivity of the celebration.

Highlighting the teachings of Jesus Christ @DrMFaisal emphasized that his message of love and compassion has a universal resonance.

While paying tribute to the Christian community, the High Commissioner stated that the dedicated Christian doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers, who have served with compassion and integrity – especially during times of national challenge have strengthened Pakistan’s social fabric.

Networking Session for PIMEC 2025

Pakistan High Commission, London @PakistaninUK hosted a networking session for UK based companies and business fora for participation in Pakistan International Maritime Exhibition & Conference (PIMEC) 2025 @pimecexpo being held in Karachi from 3rd to 6th November, 2025.

The networking session was attended by High Commissioner, Dr. Mohammad Faisal; Defence & Naval Adviser, Commodore Jawad Khawaja SI(M); Attaché Defence Procurement, Capt. M Faisal Manzoor; Mr. Rashid Iqbal, CEO Pakistan – Britain Business Council (PBBC) UK @pbbcbritain, Captain Farrukh Shahzad, General Secretary Pakistan Britain Maritime Association (PBMA); Mr. Ricardo Passos and Mr. Mike Ruck, Directors of M/s COTESI, UK; Mr. Matthew Goodall, Director European Liner Agencies Ltd. UK; Ms. Sue Wade, Director LL&TS UK; Mr. Haider Lone, Director M/s Intergrated Procurement Technology, Mr. Zafar Masood, Senior Desk Officer DBT UK; Mr. Muhammad Saleem Sabir, Vice President M/s International Registries Ltd; Mr. Shahroz Khan, Chief Executive M/s Compute Maritime; and officers of Pakistan High Commission, London.

The High Commissioner, Dr. Mohammad Faisal @DrMFaisal said that Pakistan’s maritime sector offers huge opportunities for UK based investors and industry to invest and collaborate. He highlighted that our coastal trade brings in nearly $7 billion a year which can grow significantly if this sector is developed up to optimum level.

The High Commissioner stated that Gawadar Port can be utilized as transshipment hub for trade whereby regional collaboration will pave way for social uplift of local community and national development. He urged UK companies to actively participate in PIMEC-25. Dr. Mohammad Faisal expressed the hope that PIMEC 25 will serve as a launch pad for innovation, investment and mutual cooperation.

Defence & Naval Adviser, Commodore Jawad Khawaja SI (M) briefed the participants about scope of PIMEC-25 and the potential of Blue Economy of Pakistan.

Representatives of UK based companies expressed that UK companies are looking forward to participate in PIMEC 25 and building long-term cooperation with public and private companies in #Pakistan.
