@AutoInfatuation I spoke to ZF. BMW say they are sealed for life but ZF say service before 60,000 miles. The oil holds metal filings in suspension under 60k = no damage. After this the oil starts to deposit the filings around the box. New fluid washes the debris into valves and this kills the box

@AutoInfatuation If it was injectors 5 & 6 I had mine fail too, due to water ingress. The plastic scuttle panels had deteriorated and let water run onto the engine in that area. I replaced the panels with cheap after market ones which proved to direct the water away from the engine effectively

@KateGarnerMusic Just brilliant Kate, I was born in '69 & remember seeing this for the 1st time on TV as a kid, absolutely legendary stuff. That year, my aunty bought my nan a pair of wind up chattering teeth for Xmas (as she talked a lot) & told her that she had 'more rabbit than Sainsbury's'!
