Billionaires don’t necessarily become that rich from working hard, they become that rich from exploitation. Government tax is not theft, it’s the only way our country can operate. The problem is excess spending and complicated tax laws that allow corporations and billionaires to pay lower effective tax rates than every day citizens. If you find yourself on the side of billionaires, that’s a problem. There’s plenty of reasons to thrive and work hard without becoming a billionaire, like most of the US population does. Trickle down economics do not work, the rich get richer and it’s never been more clear. That doesn’t mean anything else is socialism. Bad, illogical take. They’ve amassed a ton of wealth, especially since Covid while the rest of America gets poorer and struggles to afford groceries and electricity, and the tariffs make it worse. Worse is most of the people being negatively impacted support a party who only cares about enriching the rich even more so, they vote against their own best interests because they fall victim to the divisive rhetoric which is meant to do exactly what it does, distract, deflect and manipulate reality. It’s clear as day, anyone who can’t see it should take a step back and evaluate their reality.
