@Delverie@ruskin147@BBCRadioWales 19 Jan 2038. https://t.co/YiT0eSeJUy … we do have time, and strategies are in place, but saying that there is no problem should not be one of them. Some people did over hype 2000, but really big problems were fixed in advance.
@bbctheview@SuzyJourno@MarkCarruthers7 I live 25min drive (uncongested) from the office where I work in South Belfast. It now takes 1hr 10mins by car, or more than 2 hours each way by public transport (if it turns up). I used it for a while, it would take a lot of improvement to entice me back.
@hmzsjd @ChrisMedlandF1 Johnny Herbert has nothing to do with deploying red flags, VSC or SC. Atleast bother doing some research before slagging someone off
@RestIsPolitics@RoryStewartUK@campbellclaret@Channel4 Seriously? I had been planning to watch, even with the Goggleboxers, but with Nadine and Kwasi.... and then Ann Widdecombe, CH4 have lowered the bar just too far. Have a great night, going to bed.
@maildotcom No ... I want to turn it OFF so that I don't have to check the spam folder all the time. This is why I use your email, you gave me control. Why are you taking the option away?
@JP_Biz Agree completely John. I wonder how many headline writers have even read the report. On call is standard for out of hours cover in many sectors and nothing to do with "working from home"
A puzzling thing about the coverage of this story is how many outlets have conflated being on-call with working from home. The guy on-call tried to fix it remotely & when that didn’t work he came in. The main issue was the slow escalation protocol.
Our position remains clear. We will not back down on providing private, safe communications. Today, we join with other encrypted messengers pushing back on the UK's flawed Online Safety Bill.
@BBCNewsnight given some brexit truths tonight by
Herman Hauser 'the father of British tec'
"Brexit was Britain's biggest loss of Sovereignty since 1066."
Retweet to encourage @BBCNewsnight to post the clip.
@PaulbernalUK Not here for the politicians but agree with the point. Here for useful info people post, usually stuff media dont provide, not because of how twitter works.
@helenczerski@billothewisp Presumably smart charging can mean it removes charge from your car at peak local load times? Will there be override for that if you need the car to be charged, or how does it work?
