Every time you procrastinate, you're telling yourself that you'd rather endure the discomfort of anticipation rather than the discomfort of action.
At it's core, it's a form of arrogance.
We'd rather live with the idea of what we could be than the truth of who we are:
"Oh no!!", the influencas cried out. "CZ was counter-trading us! 💔💔"
Chillax fat man.
So Binance had some affiliated entities trading on the exchange. Do you wanna see how deep the Rabbit Hole really goes?
Let's talk about CEX.
1..2..3..4 things to keep in mind. No cap.
There are nearly no tools left to prevent a recessionary spiral. Stimulus is causing inflation; no stimulus is causing a recession. Higher rates brings a waiting game, once the problem of debt is big enough there will be no solution.
Current behavioral divergences to ponder: sp500 moving down coincident with dovish shift in rate expectations (can be distortion from the banking crisis, or a bearish sign); lower than expected inflation numbers not resulting in an immediate rally in the sp500.
If / when the market thinks we are in a recession, with the federal reserve coming to the same conclusion, rates will have to go down while the market is going down.
@sklutas @darjohn25 Thanks, that helps a lot! I can do that. I've never seen a trade so dependent on execution; or ruined by the bid/ask spread. OTOH if I can scalp legs with good timing and/or get closer to maker it could dramatically increase the yield. I need more xp w options execution.
@sklutas @darjohn25 What markets are best for the euro boxes? I've been looking into SPY, AMZN, and ES for boxes to see if there are good configurations, but a huge problem I see is that the whole profit you can make is contained within the spread. Midpoint can yield 4-6%, but taker is near 0 yield.
@tylerhkling @darjohn25 How do you do an ES forward conversion? My current cash yield play is long SPY, short ES, at same size, and roll to the next contract when necessary, to get the dividend yield + decay rate of futures premium - not sure if this is similar.
2023 thesis: down only round 2
stocks have already found their high for the year, sp500 goes under 3000
crypto: btc and eth chop. maybe a solid rally at some point but it doesn't last too long
dollar goes down along with stocks, unlike 2022, and unexpected
The market will come to realize that 4.7% treasury bond yield with 0 risk is far superior to 4.7% earnings yield from stocks that are on the edge of a massive recession.
