@Kosty791 Still very strong down the middle and you have options with Kadri/roy. If you can have dominant 3rd line I think that will open up the team even more. I agree this shouldn’t be the playoff game 1 lineup, but going to the deadline to target a D and winger, I’m great.
@devildorkboy@VgkDean@frank_seravalli The players don’t have to take less, they just may not be able to stay on the ducks. NBA and NFL constantly one up contracts and it’s good the NHL is pushing those limits. It stinks for the team but is good for parity and is good for the growth.
@Pat_BryantLover@Ajm3226@AndrewMentock@BR_CFB If he’s the 5th off the board I think he comes back. I think he’s not terrible at those things mentioned but he’s got the it factor to develop it. If he goes I think it’s if he’s top 3 on the board and has nfl teams telling him where he’s at, otherwise comes back. Big yr for him
@quionie Covid messed up the timing and pushed people back inside. When it opened back up, was way too expensive for the college and early professionals to do what they had done before. The health side maybe, but people do things against their health all the time.
@GayBearRes@SnakeSanders2 That will just raise cost of rent too you realize right? I absolutely want the inventory to turn over but raising property taxes is not how to get them to move out and would be more harmful than helpful to the housing pricing issue.
@bleauliner@AvsRobin Nashville is a cool city. Team obviously not doing well but that means land of opportunity. Just need to make playoffs to be considered success.
@TheMecrobian@FriedgeHNIC Exactly, and injuries aren’t an excuse, but that definitely hurt them as some of the guys are more hurt than they’ll let on. I expect this had a lot of conversations about what the next year will look like and if it’s not met I’m sure changes will be made before the end of year.
@evogel_@jschul29@spotrac And faceoffs don’t make a center. Obviously his faceoffs were good in the cup run and that helped, but that’s not the end all be all. MacKinnon is a great center, has sucked at faceoffs in career.
@evogel_@jschul29@spotrac Plus minus isn’t really the best measure of defense. It’s not nothing but it’s not a very good stat. Key note too,Avs were hot at beginning until injuries slowed them down. Kadri not getting get until late doesn’t mean much. Case in point LOC is a great defensive forward
@evogel_@jschul29@spotrac 3rd line center but still is costly. They do not need to fill out the 23, they will be at 20-21 most likely and rely on callups. That said, Ross Colton is likely on the move. We’ll have about 7 in space to fill out 3rd line and a 3rd D pair.
@Eridor4@davidmadurzak@k_csmith6@OrevaZSN They don’t actually, they put the experience level for the entry level role because there’s people with internships and there’s people early in their career that are looking to switch roles. The 0-2 years experience is what most entry level will say but 0 is okay.
@Dust3n@Jonnybgbold just don’t want to see another that does no matter how rare. I’m okay with the long neck undershirts too, it doesn’t need to be the big neck guard. Take that low chance and make it even lower.
@Dust3n@Jonnybgbold A nice change the topic, proving how dense you are. I said it was close to neck. Just because it missed doesn’t mean it will always be. I’m less worried about a cage because someone can get a nice gauge, but not instant bleed outs. Of course this didn’t hit his neck, I
@MarcelAndRogie@cmasisak22 They also decided, right or wrong but it seems to be working out, to move on from rantanen when the contract talks stalled and moved him before they got nothing back. We’ll see if it works out to a cup win, but being willing to make tough moves has helped the Avs a ton.
@MarcelAndRogie@cmasisak22 Got bad lottery luck but in the best way getting Makar at 4 and shortly after on “lost lotteries”. The Avs really struck by trading the right player when they traded duchene. They didn’t blow it all up and send MacKinnon landeskog or rantanen out, they let them grow to dominance.
@theblockspot Those all went back because the real feedback was they weren’t ready to be 1st round picks. The thought was they would develop. And that’s because media won’t make money saying I see this QB has a 5th rounder. It’s much better to say he has potential to be 1st round pick.
@TitleAdamFL@MindsetShift247 I think the hard part in Florida is you have full communities with upkeep that has some justification for the fees. Unless you want to switch from hoa to taxes. I’m not saying this as someone who likes an hoa, but there’s going to be issues to sort out with that.
@StatusPicks@Blutman27 The max an agent can take from nfl salary is set at 3%. Not that they do a ton to earn that, but their job is to find the market and agents have definitely increased the pay for players by far more than the 3% take. I wish I had an agent for my job tbh. But those that take 5-10%
