Last week we had our first Charger Strength camp for current 5th through 8th graders! They got to learn the basic movements in the weight room and also some basics in speed and agility.
I think their favorite part of the day was the chocolate milk at the end of each session!
What a school year for these two! Alexis and Bryant both got off to a hot start and kept working until the last day! Can't say enough about these two and their drive to make themselves better and to come in and give their best effort, even when they weren't feeling 100%.
Grant Boyd is up for the Courier & Press Athlete of the Week! Click on the link to vote for Grant as often as you can! Voting ends on Friday!

We had some final additions to our mile per hour clubs before the end of the school year! Congratualtions to Avery, Kaden, Rueger, and Bannon!
Let's go, Chargers!
Shepherd picked a weight and went for it and casually got 3.5x his bodyweight. He didn't even realize that he was pulling for the school record until after he got it!
Way to go, Shepherd!
Sectional Champion in both long jump and pole vault tonight for Grant! He broke his own school record in pole vault as well, bumping it up to 15'9"! @coachEknight continues to help him get higher and higher!
Awesome job, Grant!
Congratulations to Draven on breaking the boy's hex bar deadlift school record! He lifted over 2.75x his bodyweight as a sophomore! #amazing
Great job, Draven!

A great day in the weight room of Pike Central as the school record for the girls deadlift was broken! Alexis broke the record by 25lbs and lifted over two times her bodyweight! She's been killing it this year and continues to do it all with a smile!
Great job, Alexis!
