A time lapse of planes taxiing in/out of CAL FIRE’s Airtanker Reload Base at McClellan Park in Sacramento. On this particular day, 12 Large & Very Large Airtankers were filled with 38 loads, including 195,119 gallons of retardant for the #MosquitoFire & 19,883 for the #DutchFire.

Pretty incredible footage of the VLAT (Very Large Air Tanker) Tanker 912 making retardant drops at the Chalk Mountain Fire near Glen Rose. The DC-10 Air Tanker was brought in from California to assist with wildfires statewide. The fire is estimated at 6,339 acres, 10% contained.
