@NewYorker When regimes fall, it tends to be sudden, often unexpected. Having just spent time in Kyiv (unlike Trump admin people) I can say the Ukrainians are resolute and confident--in full knowledge that there will be much more hardship, death, and destruction. But that is their reality.
