Protests in Southampton tonight. Do NOT give the state ANY excuse to throw you in prison. Because they will use anything.
I know people are angry. I am angry. But do not throw your life away doing something you will later regret.
The police need to treat protestors fairly, and any unacceptable behaviour by any officers must be recorded and called out.
But I will say this again.
Do not get violent.
That is not how we win.
We win at the ballot box, peacefully and democratically.
We win by electing Restore Britain across our country.
It's the only way.
@Chadalac79@dgh5391 Again, if presup is explicitly scriptural in its method & terms -
Where do Van Til & Bahnsen use the above methods Peter used on Pentecost?
Where does the Bible use the presup terms I listed? I was a presup years ago & they commonly used "web of belief" from atheist W.V. Quine.
@Chadalac79@dgh5391 Ok, where are Van Til & Bahnsen like Peter on Pentecost appealing to fulfilled prophecy, miracles, witness testimony, history, archeology -centered on Christ's death & resurrection?
And where does the Bible say autonomous human reasoning, transcendental argument & web of belief?
@Chadalac79@dgh5391 Presupps use extra Biblical philosophy & is not the method used by the Lord, the Apostles, or the Prophets. I have seen presupps repeatedly condemn those who copy the Biblical method and repeatedly ignore questions how they would address Biblical passages using evidence.
@Chadalac79@dgh5391 Jesus & the Apostles appealed to fulfilled prophecy, miracles, creation, eyewitness testimony, history, even archaeology, and to the Jews the Scriptures. This is what classical & evidential apologists do and presup apologists so often condemn as unbiblical, naive and autonomous.
“MANY ARE CALLED, FEW ARE ELECT” -Jesus
Who are “the called” in that parable?
Everyone
Who are “the elect” in that parable?
Those who came in response to the King’s call clothed in the right wedding garments (Christ)
If the king is somehow secretly controlling how those who are called respond to his calling, this parable makes absolutely no rational sense.
Jesus makes sense.
