When the illusion finally shatters, what remains isn't disappointment,it's humiliation.

The man you poured your faith into was never a visionary, never a savior, never even remotely exceptional.
He was a hollow fraud wrapped in ego, fueled by noise, and sustained by endless self-promotion.

Every boast, every grand promise, every display of swagger crumbles the instant reality enters the room.
What looked like confidence was arrogance.
What looked like strength was insecurity.
What looked like leadership was little more than a carefully marketed illusion.

Scratch beneath the surface and there's no hidden brilliance, no master strategist, no misunderstood genius. Just an impulsive, self-absorbed figure stumbling from one failure to the next, desperately trying to drown incompetence in a torrent of bluster and spectacle.

In the end, the strongman image collapses into exactly what it always was: cheap theater.

-A salesman peddling an image he could never live up to.

And the hardest part isn't watching the act fall apart.
It's realizing how long you applauded it, defended it, and mistook obvious bullshit for substance...

Dopamine-addicted MAGA believe in American exceptionalism; they also dwell in a pseudo-reality, imitating Trump's pathologies, so they don't feel humility, shame, or empathy as readily as they once probably did. This is central to their world view.
But non-MAGA like you and me - who dwell in actual reality, who rely on fact before feeling, and prefer information to validation, and who don't let hormonal releases drive their everyday enjoyment and perspective - we grew up believing in American exceptionalism too!
And they've f*cked it up for us. The fact that we have to be embarrassed by our American leaders and how we're perceived on the world stage - which embarrassment, I should add, we fully feel, without numbing effects of dopamine - and the fact that MAGA has facilitated this embarrassment - THIS is the thing that drives our broad disgust of MAGA more than anything else.
We loved America without artificially and gullibly induced hormonal surges. And we still do.
And MAGA hates that we still do, because the pathologies they imitate are pettiness, selfishness, and malignancy.
