Some financial things people don't tell you about when you're being recruited as a non D1 level player:

1) You need to know your actual GPA and have access to current transcripts. Academic money is like gold

2) Fill out your FAFSA and know how much you might be getting in Pelle or aid

3) Have a good idea of how much you could spend out of pocket if needed

4) If you are able to cover housing either with a friend or family, make sure that's allowed at the school

99% of schools aren't operating on NIL budgets and large donors. They have limited athletic scholarship money to spend and players who are of equal talent level will get recruited MUCH differently when they can paint the entire picture

After appearing in 28 games as a freshman @nclshfmnn is back for his sophomore season with the Pirates. The lefty from Germany will use his experience to help the team this season!

Trey Demmert is back for year 2! He redshirted during the 25-26 season and comes back ready to make a big impact on the court. Welcome back Trey!

@Parkerl20254 is returning for his sophomore season with the Pirates. As a freshman Parker started 25 games. He averaged 9.3ppg and 4.7 reb while shooting 34% from 3. Welcome Back Parker!

Welcome Warren Bullock to the Pirate family! Warren is a lightning quick point guard who brings high-level playmaking to the squad. His high school career at Woodinville was cut short due to injury but he is healthy and ready to contribute to the pirates in 2026.

Welcome Jaxon Murray to the Pirate Family! Jaxon was a standout forward at Mountain Crest High School in Utah before serving a two year church mission in South Africa. Jaxon is a skilled big man who will bring size and toughness to the frontcourt.

Welcome @Brock_Stevens14 to the pirate family! Brock joins the program following a successful senior season where he averaged 15ppg and 7reb enroute to being named to the Idaho 6A All-SIC second team. In addition he was a 3-time All-SIC academic award winner during highschool.

Welcome Ryker Apple to the pirate family! Ryker recently returned from a two year church mission in Colombia. Prior to his LDS mission Ryker was a standout on and off the court earning Idaho 5A All-SIC honors and being named the Valedictorian for his efforts in the classroom.

Welcome @oberholtzerjo to the Pirate Family! Jordan was named to the Utah 5A All-State First Team his senior season. He averaged 14ppg and 4.9 apg while leading his team to the state semi-finals.

Welcome @KonDeng2026 to the Pirate family! Kon is an athletic scoring guard from Amarillo, TX. During his senior season he led Holy Cross to their first TAPPS 2A Texas state title in program history, finishing with a 26-7 record. Was named to the TAPPS All-State Tournament team.
