@saltcityfc 1-0 just about the worst possible outcome from a first half that was flat out dominant. 5-0 was possible from those chances. Gotta convert those in 2H.
Really sad to hear Patrick Reed decided to defect from LIV and return to the PGA Tour. He was the guy I most hoped would stay gone; he and LIV are made for each other. #Soulmates
@TheStevenNelson@ByuSome This is a Mark Harlan problem. It's not just that he's not trying to help the basketball team thrive; he's actively thwarting it. Ticket prices, lack of promos/publicity, etc. It's maddening. I don't know why Alex took the job, tbh.
Just realized that if Utah had beat BYU, we would be doing this to cost ourselves a B12 Champ game birth and likely playoff birth.
By the way, the "late hit" call goes Kansas' way. Now the phantom swallowing of the whistle on Ficklin's forward progress. Refs, man.

@KingJoel_3@Utah_AM Because we manage to do it in a way that respects our fellow ticketholders & is all about celebrating our own team, never denigrating others.
It's honestly one of the U's top traditions & enhances the atmosphere. I do expect some idiot to get them banned at some point, though.
@Utah_AM@borgetyr@nstod And they're in motion being waved back and forth, so even IF it was happening during the action (which it's not), you're not "missing" anything.
@BoozeCougs@WyattWheeler_ On 3rd down, the U converts for a 1st inside the red zone... but wait: a *highly questionable* PI call takes the U out of FG range, Utah punts for a touch back, and KSU gets another touchdown before the half to go up 10. That's where the game swung, IMO.
@BoozeCougs@WyattWheeler_ Speaking of swinging the game, how about Utah driving down 3 at the end of 2Q? Looking like they'll get a TD leaving little or no time for KState, & w/ Utes receiving 2H kickoff, there's a solid chance KSU is down 11 on their next possession.
@lvuteMoir I agree with you 100%. But what I really cannot comprehend is how anyone - R or D - can say with a straight face that an MBA isn't a professional degree??? It's basically the poster-child for professional degrees. (Not to mention pretty much all of the others.) My mind is blown.
@DrPatP Seems that way... or maybe more likely, Ficklin gets bought by a team with money. For all the passion Utah's fan base has, our wallets don't match it like other places.
@PickSixPreviews Haven't looked at the tape, but from the stadium it sure looked like the refs moved the goalposts on what constitutes holding. Utes still weren't gap sound, but there were several holds that felt like they'd have been called on any other day. π€·π»ββοΈ
