@shr_viy ... But Aegon was the usurper, the one claiming the throne. Otto had no claim on the throne. Killing him didn't improve her claim at all. Otto needed to be formally accused of treason and executed for that reason. Then when Alicent confronts her that's all she needs to say.
@shr_viy I kinda suspected it last week when there wasn't a formal sentencing, but her response seems to confirm it. Rhaenyra killed Otto for the wrong reason. She knew she had to kill Aegon to take the throne, but Aegon couldn't be found so Daemon presented Otto as a substitute...
@WesterosCentral Honestly I feel like we're getting what GOT season 8 SHOULD have been. Dany takes the throne. Dany tries to rule and all this stuff happens to make her reign ineffective. Dany descends into madness, torches KL and Jon has to kill her. Instead we got "triggered by bells."
@hankgreen This is like a plot point of every Doctor Who historical episode. People are shocked by the technology and the "naked" companions for like 30 seconds, then they adapt and shrug it off. :p
@JrOutlander@Diviam_wiljon The most important thing is to count the dragons. Dany only has 3, and she's the only rider so the other 2 have to stay around her. Rhaenyra always had more than 3, meaning she could stay out of a fight that could kill Dany.
@NicKingCole Don't think either Harrenhal or King's Landing were believable. What's the point of having regular soldiers if hero units can singlehandedly wipe out entire squads?
