@SavedSmartAss I agree. I think sometimes pt’s can confuse thoughts with voices. I wonder if she was having some of this when she wondered if others could hear..she likely was terrified and with no experience of voices/intrusive thoughts before, mixed the two up. Just my thoughts.

@BrianEntin healthcare, especially MH care is not an exact science. Pts experience symptoms differently. diseases /problems progress and respond to treatments differently. With MH issues, there’s therapy and medications basically. When someone is seen via telehealth, much is lost/missed.

@fadentodarkn3ss @BrianEntin (3) there are hoops to jump through to obtain medical records. Dr’s are busy and follow ups w other providers fall through the cracks sometimes. Lots of reasons…all are unfortunate. The entire healthcare system needs an overhaul.

@fadentodarkn3ss @BrianEntin (2). Crisis centers/ ER’s are usually understaffed, overwhelmed, and have to follow policies/practices set by Admins that aren’t always what’s best for pt’s. Often HIPAA prevents communication/input from others. Pt’s don’t always agree to allow sharing of info/records.
