Saturday night had to be hard for @JeffLandry to watch Joe Sloan call an offensive game to beat his $91 Million man. Lane can't beat his old team or LSU's fired offensive coordinator.l, thankful for La tech & McNeese or this might be real embarrassing for the Gov
2 weeks to prepare and @OU_Football isn't any better than this. BV gotta make some changes on the offensive staff. I hate for people to lose their job but this offense is bad
Safe to say that @beauelectricoop is not prepared for hurricane season. Last 2 little thunderstorms have knocked out a whole sub-station each time. But sure, thanks for the tips on hurricane preparedness #notreadyforthis
36 member of the #LAHouse voted no on SB121. Thank you to those members. Unfortunately, as President @BarackObama said, “Elections have consequences” and today is a consequence of elections in Louisiana. For too long @LaDemos have dropped the ball and thus we are where we are.
Throughout the primary season there were countless ads for GOP candidates, I don’t remember 1 for a Democrat. Speaker Tipp O’Neill said “all politics is local” it’s time @Lademos got back to local retail politics
Not only didn’t he do it twice but he lives rent free in the @LAGOP collective heads. There has to be more Jon Bels out there, it’s the party’s responsibility to find them and promote them. Just as it’s their responsibility to not give up the Senate seat to Julia Letlow.
Democrats have the message, they have the platform, they have the people but the state party has failed to recruit those people and promote the message and platform. @LouisianaGov is proof that a Democrat can win in Louisiana
@BillCassidy Senator, policy wise and politically I didn’t agree with you much but you always represented our state with integrity. Unfortunately in today’s political climate within your party, your integrity was your undoing, which is both sad and heartbreaking Thank you for your service.
Jeff Landry has been the chief law enforcement officer of Louisiana for over a decade — eight years as AG, three as governor. We are still ranked #50 in crime.
The governor stood at a podium today after a mass shooting at the Mall of Louisiana and offered nothing but the same failed playbook. More jails. More Angola. More dog whistles.
At some point the record has to speak louder than the rhetoric.
The data is clear — Jeff Landry’s policies cost us more money and they don’t make us safer.
I am praying for every family impacted by this act of violence and all the violence across our state. Too many families are carrying this grief because our leaders choose to be reactive instead of proactive.
Notice I’m not focused on his dog whistles and racism — that’s what he wants. His policies are far more racist than his rhetoric. Talk about how he’s failed as a leader. That’s how we remove him next year.

@BillCassidy@realDonaldTrump You’re a smart man Senator, smart enough to complete medical school. No way you believe this, you’re just trying to get re-elected; sensible Louisianans will vote for you because you’re sensible, this garbage will drive people away.
@SenBillCassidy@POTUS If it was about drugs Senator, he would not have pardoned Juan Orlando Hernandez, but your support is more about your re-election, not what’s true or right
