Yes, the wing is off but if you wasn’t you won’t be able to see the livery of that wing.
Oh dear lord, the expanding and modernization of the East Wing is long overdue. As is the creation of a large secure event facility on the secure White House grounds.
Beyond all of that, beneath the East Wing is the PEOC bunker originally built by FDR for the threats or World War II being expanded and hardened for the modern threats of drone attacks, biological and ballistic missile attacks.
@DavidJHarrisJr They can learn that Islam is not a religion of peace. They can learn Islam cannot and does not “coexist”.
That’s what you meant, right? Right?
@ChristianHeiens@KurtSchlichter So … theft. You’re advocating taking from Elon and giving (theoretically) to everyone else.
Brilliant.
America has gotten incredible value from SpaceX and Tesla’s role in creating industries, jobs, technology, launch capacity, and competition.
Three of the seven deadly sins exhibited in one quick statement.
1. Greed (Avarice)
2. Envy
3. Wrath
Do better Congressman.
Tesla’s federal loan: repaid in full
Tesla received a $465 million loan from the U.S. Department of Energy in 2010 through the Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing (ATVM) program. Tesla repaid the entire loan in May 2013, about nine years ahead of schedule, using proceeds from a stock offering. The repayment included interest, and Tesla has said it also paid an early repayment penalty.
America likely got more value than it spent, especially from SpaceX and Tesla’s role in creating industries, jobs, technology, launch capacity, and competition. But the claim “he just took billions from taxpayers” is deliberately misleading because much of it was contracts for services, and the major Tesla federal loan was, as I said, repaid with interest.
@simonateba@elonmusk No. Why would you be outraged by that? Look into how many of his employees who choose stock over pay increases just became millionaires.
It’s none of our business how much money someone else has nor is it our business how they choose to spend it.
@TaraBull Could be an interesting “reparations” program created based on this.
Taxpayer funded relocation to ancestral country of origin. $50,000 cash upon arrival. Relinquishment of U.S. citizenship.
@JackPosobiec … and?
I mean, the democrats are essentially being extorted to keep a significant portion of their base. How should that be a concern for the rest of us?
I think a “reporter” reports without bias. Just the facts. What we have these days are political activists in the guise of journalists.
This is nothing new. General William Tecumseh Sherman during the American Civil War, once expressed his intense dislike for the press by stating that if he killed every reporter in the world, "there would be news from Hell before breakfast."
