@poozy@seananmcguire I’ve been cooking professionally for 20 years and that is the only tool I’m scared of in the kitchen, benriner does the same thing but won’t shred your knuckles.
@seananmcguire We use this to do daikon threads and beet noodles for sushi and charashi garnish, it works really well and is made by benriner the company that makes the classic mandolin slicer.

The entire premise of the movie Chef is based on the fact that Twitter is not an intuitive app.
UIX improves as adoption increases. It will get better.
@stevendegennaro @AdmiralMemo@lolennui If thing like “sign up”, “follow everyone you want” or “like an email address” are barriers to adoption for you there’s probably a bigger issue at play, or you’re just being intentionally thick.
@dcseifert@eliseomartelli That’s kind of the point. Mastodon is part of the larger fediverse, and though every server is a unique instance, you can follow and interact with all fediverse users.
