These efforts by the Department of Commerce have helped raise India’s exports to a record US$ 863 billion in FY 2025-26, reinforcing the vision of India as a Global Export Hub.

Reflecting this momentum, Odisha exported 100,897 metric tonnes of seafood valued at USD 623.28 million (₹5,428.67 crore) during 2025-26. Backed by robust fisheries infrastructure, expanding aquaculture capacity, and improved export logistics, the state continues to strengthen India’s presence in global seafood markets.
