This is what Mumbai looks like after 96 hours of non-stop torrential rain.

My city has received 600 mm of rainfall this week, with another 400 mm likely over the next 48 hours.

That’s about 40% of its average seasonal rainfall in just one week. Most cities would come to a standstill under these conditions.

@Central_Railway @RailMinIndia what kind of system are you operating. 10.47 am local from kalyan (Badlapur-CSMT) is announced as fast from kalyan now it is changed to semifast, so much of misinformation. This kind of incidents are occuring daily on CR mumbai. @AshwiniVaishnaw

@AshwiniVaishnaw sir since many days i and people like me are observing all trains are running late 15 to 20 mins leading to overcrowding of train. People are fedup complaining, mumbai railways are becoming deathhell from lifeline. Please act fast we can only expect from you.
