$NGEN Great presentation this morning. Worth a listen about 2hr. long. Slide deck is on website under events tab. A recording of entire presentation should follow soon.
@therealAlPrince@richadcock Sorry, but the investigators (and company) have their hands tied as it would harm trial integrity if they looked. At some point, the trial will hit Median Survival and they will reveal. Until then, we wait happily.
$IBRX
It has been 8 months since the company updated progress on the Glioblastoma trial. At that time, median survival had not been reached with 6 months of follow up. Dare I think they are now reaching 14 months without MOS? Even 10 months would be a touchdown in Glioblastoma
$NGEN
Glial scarring at severed nerve ends (once thought to prevent regrowth) are protective mesh of tree like branches. They provide a support matrix (like a chain link fence) for nerves to grow through once NVG-291 turns off the chemical "don't grow" signals by binding to PTPσ
$NGEN Random Thought: The NVG-291 peptide doesn't know it's there just to solve spinal cord injury. It will bind to PTPσ receptors throughout the nervous system. If a patient in the trial has co-existing nerve damage elsewhere, those areas should also interact with the peptide.
$NGEN Updated https://t.co/OQ3xKPrtnT today. Shows estimated Phase 3 trial start date of 9/23/26 for NVG-291 vs Placebo. Lists 18 study sites and estimates primary completion of 07/14/2027.
@PK_Fund Correcting Lymphopenia is the MOA of the drug and, frankly, the root of the problem no matter the indication. This should “work” whether used as first line treatment or to mitigate damage to the immune system caused by previous treatment. Interesting conundrum. $IBRX
$IBRX ASCO 2026 abstract for Anktiva in Glioblastoma (published May 2026, using a January 13, 2026 cutoff) confirmed MOS not reached, median follow-up at 6.75 months (range 2.4–9.3 months), four deaths on study among the 14 participants. That was 7 months ago now.
@Rainmaker1973 Leroy Lettering Set. I used one of these in my first architect's intern job about 1979. I still have a set of letters, the scribe and compatible pens.
@AscendingBio@Sandiithiko ImmunityBio stands out as the company with both the latest-stage development and strong, extended patent protection in the IL-15/NK cell therapy space. With extensions, this protection could last to the 2035-2040 range. Biggest thing: Anktiva is demonstrating that it works
$NGEN's NVG-291 turns OFF the glial scar's DON'T GROW signal which "allows" nerve repair. It is perhaps obvious to ask the next question about whether there are OTHER compounds being developed that push the GROW button. Grok says there are SEVERAL in development.
$ibrx has ongoing glioblastoma trial that we have not heard updated since January. At that time, median survival had not been reached at ~6 months. Add 6 months time around 12 months by now? Can't wait to hear.
@ManniloTrader The threat is real. I expect big pharm to start trying to buyout the company before it gets too big. I doubt the Good Doctor is going to sell, but I do think they will try.
@Deepvalue69420 These numbers were published as of late January so it’s not “new” per se, however reading between the lines we can add Feb, Mar, April, and quite a bit of May and wonder if they STILL have not reached MOS
@adamfeuerstein The company reported a median complete response duration of 22.1 months for the ANKTIVA combination versus 9.7 months for the comparator therapy. More than double... so there's that...
